Checkout testing without writing code

Describe the purchase you want to protect. BuniOD turns it into a browser test, runs it on your staging site every day and shows the exact step that failed.

A broken checkout costs money every hour it stays broken

Checkout is the flow everyone assumes works — until a release proves otherwise.

  • A small UI change breaks the “Place order” button, and nobody clicks through the whole purchase before release.
  • Discount codes, shipping options and taxes multiply the paths worth checking.
  • Customers find the bug before your team does — and many of them simply leave.

Protect the path to purchase with a daily check

Write the purchase steps

List the steps: what to buy, how to pay and what the confirmation should show. BuniOD matches each step to your shop and fills in the test data you give it.

Check what matters

Totals, the confirmation page and the order email — a test identity has its own inbox, so the scenario can check what your shop sends.

Run it every day

Confirmed scenarios run once a day at a time you choose, or on demand before a release.

See what broke

A failed run shows the step or check that failed, an explanation, a screenshot and console and network logs.

Demo data: Acme Shop — Staging. Your scenario follows your own pages.

How it works

Three steps to a daily check

01

Connect your site

Add your staging URL. Public pages need nothing else; signed-in areas use HTTP basic auth or a test identity.

02

Write the steps

Write the test steps and the expected result in plain language, the way you would brief a tester. BuniOD matches each step to your page and adds the checks.

03

Review, then run daily

Confirm the scenario, run it on demand or once a day, and see the failed step with a screenshot and logs.

Questions

Can BuniOD pay with a real card?

Run checkout tests on a staging environment with your payment provider’s test mode and test card. Scenarios act like a real user, so on production they would place real orders.

Does it check the order confirmation email?

Yes, when the scenario uses a test identity: each one has its own inbox, so a scenario can check the emails your shop sends.

What if our checkout has a CAPTCHA?

A CAPTCHA can block runs. Use a staging environment with CAPTCHA disabled or your CAPTCHA provider’s test key.

How often does the check run?

On demand whenever you need it, or once a day at a time you choose.
